Before Dawn: the playlist

Here's the playlist from this week's KZUM 89.3 radio show, Before Dawn, hosted by Dylan Bliss. I got up to guest host with him from 4 to 6 a.m. on Tuesday. If you like what you see, take a listen; I've found that it feels liberating to be up while everyone is sleeping. Or you could pester us to make podcasts or something.


On this week's show, some particular bands got some extra play. A favorite of Dylan's right now, Electric President and a favorite of the both of us, Austin's White Denim. Dylan even likes White Denim so much, he made their latest release "The Last Day of Summer" his top album pick for 2010 in the Dailyer Nebraskan entertainment section Seeds., of which he just so happens to be the editor of.   


Some other bands worth your time, and some of my picks on the show, are Smith Westerns and Tennis. Tracks featured on the show by these bands both happen to be singles from their 2011 albums. So keep your eyes peeled for those early next year.
